About
Amanda is a director, writer, and creative storyteller from Fresno, CA. She recently graduated from John Paul the Great Catholic University in Escondido, CA with a BS in Communications Media and an emphasis in directing and production.
Amanda grew up in a family of movie-lovers and got to cultivate a passion for film from a young age. She made movies with her neighborhood friends growing up. As she got older, Amanda got involved in dance. She’s learned many styles like ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, and musical theater. She did color guard competitively and used dance as an outlet for creative freedom and expression. She spent her time learning choreography, performing, and writing her own choreography for herself and others.
While at John Paul the Great Catholic University, Amanda worked on many student films, a feature film, and has been the assistant choreographer and dance captain for a musical. She has also assistant directed the theatre productions “Uncle Vanya” and “Romeo and Juliet”. For her senior thesis project, Amanda directed the acting practicum “Liv Laf Luv Inc.”
Amanda has a passion for sharing creativity and highlighting human experiences. She loves to travel and has been on many roadtrips across the Western United States and internationally to England, Ireland, France, Italy, Mexico and Canada. Her favorite part about traveling is getting to experience the different customs and specialties of each place she visits.
